In this project I was introduced to rotoscoping which is the process of tracing over many frames of a video file within software such as Photoshop to create your own 2d animation.
For this project I used the following video.
Once I had the video in Photoshop I cut it down to the roughly 5 second long clip I wanted to use.
It was important to ensure that it was set to 10fps to ensure there was no sort of flashing between frames, once I had the setting sorted out I began tracing every frame (every three frames if set to regular 30fps).

I found that some frames are very blurry so I did my best to interpret for example, claw locations by looking at previous frames.
Final clip.
I loved this project becuase not only was I able to revive a long since dead meme but I was able to explore a completely new area of animation and Photoshop too. This project helped me with the likes of getting a 2D ball animation done, something I would have otherwise struggled to do.
