SWOT is a form of self-analysis which in using helps you to profile your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. In doing so, you combine these internal and external factors to help you pinpoint the best opportunities for your career path. Here is my own SWOT analysis.

Strengths

Decent 3D modelling artist with rigging and animation experience to supplement this. Being a single individual I can more easily be fitted into job roles of this area then fully fledged development teams of large numbers. I also have good experience in level design.

Weaknesses

My weaknesses flourish in my inability to both program and understand the programming languages too well themselves, with my individual experience reaching out no further then the likes of Python. This is a factor I very much wish to improve or perhaps find workarounds too through the likes of node graph-based programming in software such as Unity and Unreal.

Something worth avoiding for me in conceptual artwork,

Opportunities

An opportunity I am already working fully into is a game development project with a monatisation company in which I am developing the player character.

Opportunities that would speak out to me would be with any smaller game development company, perhaps more mobile orientated and on smaller-scale projects so I can jump from teams in order to expand my portfolio and contacts.

Threats

Obstacles I see myself facing is the low demand for 3D modelling artists, that paired with the dwelling trend of AI generated assets. Current competitors are only really college peers, most of which seem to be doing the same thing, with exceptions.
