~Maths and Logic Fundamentals (Area and Perimeter)~

Writer's picture: ArchieArchie

I'll be summarizing how to find both the area and the perimeter of the shapes shown bellow.

Triangle:

Area = ½ × base × height

Perimeter = base + side 01 + side 02

Square:

Area = length²

Perimeter = 4 x length

Rectangle:

Area = width x height

Perimeter = (2 x width) + (2 x height)

Trapezoid:

Area = ½ x (length 01 + length 02) x height

Perimeter = length 01 + length 02 + length 03 + length 04

Parallelogram:

Area = base x height

Perimeter = 2 x (slanted length + base)

Circle:

Area =𝝅 x radius²

Perimeter = 2 x 𝝅 x radius

Ellipse:

Area = 𝝅 x radius 01 x radius 02

Perimeter ≅ 2 x 𝝅 x (√a² + b²) ÷ 2

Sector:

Area = ½ x radius² x 𝜃

Perimeter =
